Intern - The Office of Congressman Bill Shuster (PA-09) is seeking interns for the Fall of 2010 in his Washington, DC office. Candidates should be self-motivated, team players that are ready to work in a faced-paced environment. The internship will provide individuals with an opportunity to gain a hands-on experience in a Congressional office while gaining a valuable understanding of the Legislative Branch of the Federal Government. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones, sorting constituent mail, attending committee hearings and briefings for staff, data entry, and giving tours of the Capitol. Although this position is unpaid, we will work with the student to fulfill requirements for school credit programs.
