Title: Lead Client Marketer- Department of Defense Position Description: Deloitte Services LP has an immediate opening for a Lead Client Account Marketer at the Senior Manager level (L6) to serve the Defense practice at Deloitte, a Top 30 federal contractor and global professional services firm. The candidate will leverage the firm's National and Global resources to develop, design, and oversee a marketing strategy for Deloitte within the Department of Defense. The role includes planning and executing a strategic marketing program that encompasses marketing, branding, positioning, targeting, sales enablement, and eminence management. We seek a versatile, proven, collaborative marketing professional with experience in marketing strategy; program development; content development; event planning and execution; brand- and awareness-building; as well as relationship and market development, outreach, and engagement. The position requires a candidate who is both strategic and detail oriented, outgoing, able to team and to work autonomously, and comfortable navigating large, complex environments. This marketing professional should be adept at coordinating the contributions of a diverse group of professionals-National and Global practice leaders, subject matter experts, National and Global marketing, design, communications, public relations, interactive, recruiting), and vendors. Title commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: · Develop strategic positioning and value proposition at key clients; develop and execute strategic marketing campaign plan to drive positioning and value proposition · Create consistent messages and materials to be used in all client interactions · Develop/leverage relevant content (client facing materials) for a wide range of marketing channels, that drive Deloitte's brand positioning and market offerings to the client · Manage strategic positioning of Deloitte luminaries in marketplace · Manage, develop, and mentor one direct report Required Skills: · Bachelor's degree · 10+ years of demonstrated marketing/communications experience to include strategy, development, and implementation · 3+ years supervisory experience mentoring and developing staff Preferred Skills: · Experience with global, national, and commercial organizations · Experience marketing to the Federal government and the Department of Defense · Experience marketing to commercial the Aerospace and Defense Industry · Branding and positioning experience · Experience working within an advisory or professional services organization, or heavily matrixed operating environment · Strong project management abilities · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills required · Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines · Working knowledge of a Sales, Marketing and Business Development organization and the ability to navigate the broader organization in order to accomplish tasks Logistics: Candidates based in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia metro area preferred.
