Legislative Assistant -- House Member Personal Office

House Republican seeks Legislative Assistant to handle Veterans Affairs Committee assignment, defense, homeland security, and healthcare issues portfolio. Previous LA experience or background in veterans/military issues is required. Responsibilities include drafting and analyzing legislation, preparing briefing memorandum for member, constituent services and correspondence, and other tasks as assigned.
