Resume Drop Off Service for US House Jobs
Resume Drop Off Service
The Resume Drop-off Service is now available to make it easier for job-seekers to submit resumes to Members-elect interested in hiring experienced staff.
Applicants must adhere to the following rules when submitting a resume:
1. Each resume must be addressed to a specific Member-elect. A cover letter may be used.
2. In the interest of security, Pitney Bowes Management Services will not accept any resumes in envelopes.
3. Pitney Bowes Management Services will not copy resumes. Individuals must submit the appropriate number of resumes for distribution.
Important Notes:
The postage free resume drop-off schedule is as follows:
Place: B-240 LHOB
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
Duration: November 13th through November 30th
This free service is for resumes only. Pitney Bowes Management Services has the right to inspect all items and reject those that fall outside the scope of this service.
Resume drop-off after December 3rd will require either postage or payment of 13¢ per resume. At that time, please make payments to “US Treasury” in the form of a check or money order.
For those who prefer electronic submission of resumes, an electronic version of this service is available via House.gov: http://www.house.gov/content/jobs/apply.php. Resumes will be accepted electronically through the end of the 113th Congress on January 3, 2015.

Good to know about "Resume Drop Off Service". This kind of service is something different and unique.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your response to Don Goodman's article about selecting a good resume writing service. Do you ever provide recommendations on a good company? I did a google search of firms and was swamped by hundreds of them.
