Legislative Assistant -- House Personal Office

Congressman Rodney Davis is seeking to round out his legislative team with a legislative assistant to manage health care, energy, financial services and other policy areas. The preferred candidate is a team-oriented, self-starting, strong writer with at least two-years of hill experience and Illinois ties. Responsibilities include rapid response to constituent inquiries (mail and phone), monitoring the House floor, generating ideas for legislation, and other tasks. The ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines, communicate effectively with member, and work well with existing team are critical.
