Congressman Geoff Davis (R-KY) is seeking a Press Secretary. The successful candidate must have excellent written and oral communications skills, political acumen and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Focus is on maximizing direct connections with constituents and local media. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting/distributing press releases; writing a weekly column; targeted communication through list acquisition, development, expansion and messaging; weekly e-newsletter; development and coordination of all franked materials; planning and preparation for tele-town hall meetings; updating and improving the website; preparation of talking points and speeches; establishing and maintaining strong relations with local media and executing an aggressive earned local media campaign.
