Tuck Business Bridge Program -- Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute

The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is Accepting Applications for its Tuck Business Bridge Program Washington D.C. - The Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI) is committed to advancing the Hispanic Community's Diversity of Thought, and we recognize the importance of a strong educational foundation in order to do so. That is why CHLI has partnered with Dartmouth College, to offer students the opportunity to participate in the Tuck Business Bridge Program. The Tuck Business Bridge Program is a four-week, total-immersion program for rising juniors, seniors, and recent graduates. Taking place at the Tuck School of Business on the campus of Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire; the Tuck Business Bridge Program offers students a rigorous curriculum that challenges them to work effectively within a team, develop leadership skills and familiarize themselves with today's business practices. Students can expect to gain valuable knowledge in accounting, marketing, finance, and global economics. They will receive personalized attention by professors who are leaders in their respective fields, maximizing their learning experience and allowing face-to-face interaction. The Tuck Business Bridge Program takes place during the summer from July 15 to August 9, 2013.The application deadline for the Program is March 15, 2013. CHLI will provide two students with a scholarship to participate in the program. Scholarship includes round-trip airfare, $4,900 to aid with room and board, and provides funds for research materials. In addition, students selected to participate will spend a weekend in Washington D.C. meeting CHLI staff, and sponsors of the program. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents of Hispanic descent, and either be enrolled in a four-year university, or be a recent college graduate focused in an area of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Selected students will receive round-trip airfare, books, room and board.
