Two Communications Positions -- Prominent Communications Firm

Communications Director Prominent communications firm seeking experienced Communications Director. As a small firm with a uniquely large impact in the field of corporate and political communications, our clients include the boardrooms of myriad Fortune 100 companies to those in the halls of Congress. The communications professional we seek has the proven track record and diverse experience to join our dynamic team. Many in this field fashion themselves “good communicators.” Few are. We have a rare opening for an innovative, creative, message driven communications professional; one who writes with a keen eye and ear not to what is said, but what is heard – be it in an op-ed for a Governor, talking points for the Commissioner of a professional sport, a speech for a Fortune 100 CEO, or a communications strategy for a national political campaign. Any such task could come on any given day – no two of which are alike. Must be willing to travel and work remotely when required. Must be poised under pressure. Our firm is a true meritocracy – we don’t do bureaucracy or busy work. If you are good, you will advance; limitless upward mobility. Moreover, you will have access and impact at the highest levels. In the interests of full disclosure, our learning curve is tight. Some “get it” in swift fashion, others don’t. This isn’t an easy job, but it’s a rewarding one. Our language is survey and focus group driven, but we are not a traditional polling or research firm. We don’t merely analyze language, we craft it. Quantitative (surveys) or qualitative (focus groups) experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Must have at least three years of experience on Capitol Hill or with a trade organization – with demonstrable writing proficiency. A rare opportunity for what may be the best job you ever have.
