Metro Area) To Apply: https://experian.taleo.net/careersection/2/jobdetail.ftl?job=13840&lang=en&media_id=31263&src=LinkedIn_Slots Job Description The candidate will be responsible for creating sales strategies, operational plans and its successful execution to generate revenue growth through existing and new account development activities within Federal Public Sector. Successful candidates must have a proven track record of selling fraud, analytics and risk management solutions, within Federal Government. The candidate must have the ability to work with other Experian sales and product management teams to develop strategic solutions for this market segment. This position reports to the General Manager of Experian Public Sector. The successful candidate will: • Create sales strategies and execute the strategies to ensure year over year revenue growth objectives are met with a focus on organic and inorganic growth. • Participate in Revenue Budgeting process; as well perform all management functions in the area of monthly reporting and revenue forecasting. • Identifying and removing any barriers to achieving goals. • Providing guidance and direction to the Account Executives that will foster success and skill set improvement. • Provide strategic direction and tactical insights to refine the go to market strategy for innovative Experian Public Sector solutions to address key government issues and opportunities. • Hire, develop, and motivate a group of state/local sales executives and account managers to drive sales objectives. • Identify, aggressively pursue, and close new business opportunities using a variety of lead generation tools. • Develop strong executive customer and strategic partner relationships through regular communication that results in increased customer satisfaction and sales. • Responsible for pipeline/ territory management, account plan development and annual budget and goal development for the team. • Perform management functions in the area of monthly reporting and region tracking, as well as perform annual reviews of staff. • Provides market planning analysis with qualitative information that will enable sustainable performance for the state / local vertical market. • Positively represent the company in a professional manner at all times. • Work closely with product management and other members of Experian sales management to develop strategic solutions for this market segment that will measurably add value to our client’s business and position us favorably against our competition. Desired Skills & Experience Requirements of this position include: • BS / BA Degree required, MBA preferred • Reside in the Greater Washington , DC area • Minimum of 10 years successful sales experience, successful sales management experience strongly preferred • Proven record of growing a business over time • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented, growing public company with high expectations • Self- starter with ability to think strategically and respond tactically • A solid understanding of Federal Government policy, issues /key initiatives, budgeting / legislative process, capture lifecycle and procurement processes. • A solid understanding of current technologies applicable within Public Sector such as analytics, and cloud computing, and their applicability to combat fraud, enhance and streamline government programs and outcomes. • Passion for driving results and developing people • Ability to establish consultative business relationships with clients • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with internal and external clients at all levels • Ability to establish crystal clear expectations • Excellent organizational, goal setting, analytical and planning skills • Ability to develop, implement and manage key strategic initiatives • Outstanding people management, leadership and developmental skills Willingness to travel
