Paid Fellowship – The office of Congressman Geoff Davis (R – KY) has a single opening for a full-time fall fellow in his Washington, D.C. office. The fellow will be required to work 9:00 – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday and will be given a monthly stipend. Duties include but are not limited to assisting the legislative staff with policy research and projects, leading tours of the U.S. Capitol, attending committee hearings and briefings, aiding in constituent correspondence, in addition to various other administrative tasks. Communications Director – Congressman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon is seeking a hard working, energetic and experienced Communications Director for his personal office. Previous Hill experience preferred. Duties include writing speeches, press releases, op/eds, pitching stories to local media and managing the New Media Coordinator. This individual will work with senior staff to develop and implement a district press strategy. Armed Services and Education and Workforce Committee background a plus.
