Staff Assistant – A conservative Midwest member is seeking a Staff Assistant for his Washington office. Candidate must have fundamental understanding of the legislative process, possess strong organization skills and have some experience with IQ. Responsibilities include but not limited to greeting and screening visitors and callers, managing the tour and flag systems, and performing general administrative duties. Internships – The office of Congressman Mike Pence is seeking unpaid interns for the Fall Semester. The ideal candidate should possess a service-oriented attitude and a willingness to work hard, follow directions, and enjoy the experience. Duties may include but are not limited to: giving tours of the U.S. Capitol, assisting with correspondence, answering phones, legislative research, and other projects as needed. Internship - Congressman John Fleming, M.D. of Louisiana has a Fall internship position available in his Washington D.C. office. Duties include answering phones, sorting mail, data entry, attending briefings, writing about and researching legislation, and giving Capitol tours. Strong conservative philosophy a must.
