Account Executive (Digital)

CRAFT | Media / Digital, a young and rapidly expanding political and public affairs communications firm, seeks a hip, energetic, responsible self-starter to join our dynamic team.

The Digital Account Executive at CRAFT | Media/Digital acts as a link between clients and the firm. The Account Executive reports to the Partners and is responsible for the day-to-day running and execution of our clients’ campaigns. This position serves as a liaison between political campaign and public affairs clients and the CRAFT Digital team. The Account Executive works closely with clients throughout campaigns, managing administrative and organizational work and ensuring that projects are completed on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

Leads digital projects including website design, development, and maintenance, online advertising, fundraising, and data analysis
Manages internal and external creative, development, and advertising staff, coordinating resources and ensuring the quality and timeliness of deliverables
Works with appropriate partners to brief digital, creative and research staff, and assists with the formulation of digital campaign strategies
Presents creative work to clients for approval or modification
Meets deadlines, prioritizes tasks and manages budgets and campaign costs effectively
Writes reports, keeps detailed records, and financial details of all campaigns
Prepares business development proposals and participates in business development pitches and meetings
Manages administrative staff when necessary and undertakes occasional administrative tasks
Becomes familiar with the nature of clients’ business or campaign culture and competition, and develops opportunities for inside sales as a part of ongoing relationships
Monitors campaign effectiveness and manages account profitability.
Arranges and attends meetings and reports on key decisions
Other projects and duties as requested, directed or assigned
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Professional manner and highly polished interpersonal and written communication skills
Political interest and acumen
Ability to add value to and directly troubleshoot digital creative and code product
Applied experience with online creative design for website creation and advertising
Applied experience with web markup languages and content management systems
Ability to handle quantitative data such as budgets and online media buys
Ability to work successfully in a team environment, as well as to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment
Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously in a creative environment where interruptions are common
Commitment to responsiveness, high quality work, confidentiality and customer service
Proficiency with PC and/or Apple operating systems, as well as word processing, spreadsheets, and Internet browsing applications
Education and Training: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Required to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to walk up and down stairs
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds on an infrequent basis
Building is not ADA-compliant
