Legislative Representative, Federal Affairs, CHS Inc., Arlington, VA
CHS, Inc. is establishing another position in its Arlington, VA office. As a Fortune 150 “Most Admired” company we pride ourselves on being leaders.
The selected candidate will represent the company’s interests, working with the federal government and national trade associations. Primary duties include lobbying and educating officials on legislative and regulatory matters focusing on agricultural, energy, and environmental issues.
A minimum of three plus years of government affairs/ Capitol Hill experience with congressional relations activities, legislative and agency liaison, as well as knowledge of federal legislative and regulatory policy and their meaning for agriculture and energy.
Interested individuals must have a four year college degree, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable taking on an educating/ teacher-like role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office environment and Internet required.
