Science Writer BrightFocus Foundation, based in Northern Montgomery County, MD, wants a smart mid-level writer who will work on site to translate complex information about research on Alzheimer’s and other health conditions associated with aging into compelling stories and information about the human side of science. The ideal candidate has five years in journalism or some other venue for popular writing. S/he will work with our communications and science professionals to develop articles for print and our web site and social media properties, and will interact with the scientists and institutions whose projects we fund.
