Executive Assistant/Scheduler -- DC Government Affairs Firm

Job Description for Executive Assistant/Scheduler The Executive Assistant/Scheduler is responsible for day-to-day administrative support of the principal of a government affairs firm in downtown Washington, DC. Responsibilities include scheduling, making travel arrangements, drafting correspondence, small-scale event planning, answering multiple telephone lines, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate must be dependable, have a positive attitude, posses excellent organizational and communication skills, work well with others, and be able to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment while managing their time efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. The potential for growth and opportunity is possible for a bright, goal-oriented person as this position is an excellent stepping stone for recent graduates and others new to the government affairs arena.
