Manager – Government Relations
American Iron and Steel Institute, a DC-based trade association representing the North American steel industry, is interviewing candidates for Manager, Government Relations. Responsibilities of this position include providing technical, administrative and logistical support to the government affairs team, managing the political action committee, LDA disclosure reporting as well as supporting public policy efforts by monitoring hearings, conducting research, communicating industry messages and assisting with planning grassroots organization efforts. Candidates must have BS/BA degree in political science, government or related field, minimum two years related experience in government relations.
