RESEARCH ANALYST & PROJECTS CONSULTANT GOP Research Firm
RESEARCH ANALYST & PROJECTS CONSULTANT
Who We Are: Boutique firm specializing in competitive intelligence, opposition research
and strategic insights for Republican political campaigns, conservative advocacy and
educational groups, and major corporations and industry groups.
Who You Are: A recent graduate who loves digging deeper and asking tough questions.
You are politically-attuned, detail oriented, and a strong written communicator who is
motivated to build your career and eager to learn how it’s done.
The Opportunity: Our clients demand detailed, intelligent, coherent, and 100% accurate
research and analysis delivered at lightning speed. With the election year upon us, we need
to grow our team to keep meeting our clients’ needs. We don’t expect you to come to us as
an expert researcher, but we do expect you to have a willingness to learn. This is an entry
level opportunity, but the work you do will be substantive and mission critical for us and our
clients. This work includes:
(1) Conducting online and electronic research using Nexis and other tools
(2) Monitoring news and social media for both internal and external projects
(3) Drafting reports, op-eds, blog posts and other content
(4) Conducting field research as necessary
(5) Providing limited administrative support (e.g., updating databases, maintaining
project calendars, etc.)
The work will be really demanding, but a good candidate who demonstrates they can handle
these demands will have the opportunity for significant upward mobility with our firm.
Interested? Email your resume to gopresearchfirm@gmail.com. Explain why you are
interested in this opportunity in the text of your email; It does not have to be fancy or
formal. If you have writing samples handy, feel free to include them. If not, there’s time for
that later in the consideration process – we would rather hear from you sooner rather than
later.
