Legislative Assistant -- House Member Personal Office

LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANT - House Republican Member seeks Legislative Assistant with responsibility for science; energy & commerce; and transportation & infrastructure portfolios. Primary responsibility will be staffing the member for the Science, Space and Technology Committee with an additional heavy focus on energy issues. Responsibilities include developing legislative initiatives, tracking legislative developments, preparing briefing materials/talking points, and representing the Member in meetings with constituents, industry, and others. Strong communication and writing skills are essential, as well as ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Prior Hill experience strongly preferred and Oklahoma ties desired.
