Interns – Congressman James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) is currently seeking fall interns with conservative values, who are available to start at the beginning of September. Interns will be responsible for maintaining general front office duties including answering phones, conducting and scheduling tours, logging and writing office correspondence, and a variety of other administrative tasks. Applicants should be detail oriented, punctual, and have excellent communication skills. Wisconsin ties are preferred. Fall interns - Congressman Paul Broun (GA-10) is currently accepting applications from current college students or recent college graduates wishing to gain experience in a fast-paced office for a full-time or part-time fall semester internship. We are seeking applicants with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a high degree of professionalism. In addition to supporting the legislative and administrative staff with day-to-day activities, interns will conduct Capitol tours, attend legislative briefings, assist with constituent calls and requests, process incoming mail, and conduct legislative research. The internship is unpaid, but students will have an opportunity to earn college credit and gain valuable Capitol Hill experience. Georgia and/or district ties are preferred but not required. Main responsibilities include answering phones, drafting letters, researching legislative issues, attending meetings/hearings as needed and giving tours of the Capitol. Candidates should be self motivated, enthusiastic, a team-player, flexible, and computer-literate. This is a great opportunity for college students seeking to gain academic credit.
