Scheduler - The office of Congressman Tim Murphy (R-PA) is seeking applicants for the Scheduler position in the Washington office. Responsibilities include scheduling both district and DC meetings and events for the Congressman; maintaining executive correspondence; and assisting with other executive assistant duties as assigned. Candidates must have excellent people skills and must be courteous, detail-oriented and extremely organized. This is a fast-paced position that requires someone who can multi-task and be a team player. Pennsylvania ties a plus as well as previous scheduling experience. Legislative Correspondent - Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, drafting correspondence, monitoring floor activity, and coordinating intern schedules/activities. In addition, the candidate will assist legislative staff with research and the development of various policy initiatives. Strong writing skills are required for this position as the Congressman places a high premium on substantive and timely correspondence. Wisconsin ties are preferred, but not required. Internship – The office of Congressman Zach Wamp (R-TN) is seeking qualified interns to fill full and part-time positions for the fall semester. Work for an energetic, results-oriented Republican and gain invaluable, career-building experience on Capitol Hill by assisting in daily Congressional office duties, helping with incoming constituent communication, and aiding legislative staff and communications director on special projects. This internship is unpaid and requires a minimum time-commitment of three half-working days per week (15 hours). Interns – Texas Republican looking for applicants for an unpaid internship, available to start ASAP. Candidates should have a strong work ethic and be a good team player. Candidates are responsible for performing daily office duties (phones, flag requests, setting up constituent tours, etc.) in order to maintain an efficient working environment. Interns - The Office of Congressman Scott Garrett (R-NJ) is currently accepting applications for interns in Washington, D.C. for the fall semester. An internship in the U.S. Congress offers college and graduate school students an exciting opportunity to learn the daily operations of a legislative office. Interns will gain insight into the federal government and legislative process by assisting the staff with legislative correspondence, legislative research, constituent response, issue briefings, and administrative tasks. Applicants for an internship at Congressman Garrett’s office should be motivated and organized individuals with a high work ethic and friendly attitude. NJ ties are preferred but not required.
