Complete College America, a new non-profit working with states to significantly boost the number of Americans with a college degree or career certificate, is seeking to add a Research Analyst to its team of impatient reformers. Given your policy expertise, your advice and recommendations on suitable candidates for this important position would be very appreciated.
The need for this work is compelling. We've made great progress in ensuring students from all backgrounds have access to college -- but we haven't finished the all-important job of creating the best conditions for achieving a degree. Today, only half who pursue a 4-year degree graduate. Fewer than one quarter who aspire to a 2-year degree ever finish.
Simply put, access without success leads to broken dreams, crippling debt and missed opportunities. Complete College America is driven by the fundamental belief that we must reinvent American higher education to match the needs of the New American Majority of college students, who must balance the jobs they need with the education they desire. By doing so, all Americans can realize their full potential -- and all our country will share in the benefits of their success.
Today, 22 states and counting have committed to work with Complete College America to boost their college graduates and brighten their futures.
