Press Secretary--House Member

Southern Conservative Republican is seeking a highly motivated, organized and strategic-thinking wordsmith to serve as Press Secretary. Experience dealing with media strongly preferred. If you can gin up sparkling and winsome prose at a moments notice, we want you to apply. Responsibilities include: managing Member’s interaction with the media; composing op-eds, speeches, press releases, and e-newsletters; manage and grow Member’s social media presence; develop comprehensive communication strategy. Applicant should be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience with video production and/or web design a plus. Hill experience preferred.
