Manager, Government Affairs
The National Grocers Association (N.G.A.), representing the nation’s independent retail and wholesale grocers, seeks an energetic individual to join the Government Affairs Department as Manager of Government Affairs. Congressional staff and / or association experience in analyzing, monitoring, and reporting on legislative / regulatory issues is beneficial. Knowledge of the food industry, food safety / labeling, labor, or tax issues is a plus. Strong written and communications skills and the ability to quickly learn new issues are essential.
