University of Maryland Spring Career & Internship Fair Registration Available The University of Maryland, College Park was recently ranked #8 by the Wall Street Journal in a listing of top schools at which employers like to recruit. Take part in what other employers have experienced by participating in our Spring 2012 campus recruitment season, which will be anchored by our Spring Career & Internship Fair, February 26 - 28, 2013. Registration is now open! January 25th is the deadline to register in order to be included in the printed materials, which include the fair booklets distributed to participating students and alumni. Proven UMD Recruitment Strategies: Follow these simple steps to complete your UMD campus recruiting strategy: 1. Attend the Spring Career & Internship Fair With over 1,500 students participating each day, this fair promises to be central to any recruitment efforts at UMD. NOTE: There are no specific days geared towards particular majors. Register for any day to see all types of students. Learn more and register. 2. Set up an On-Campus Interview (OCI) Schedule OCI is a free service that allows you to complete you interviews with top University of Maryland candidates in a single day, in one location. To schedule interviews at the University Career Center, login here. 3. Consider the SEA Green (Sustainability, Environmental and Agriculture) Career & Internship Fair This event will run concurrently with the first day of the Spring Career & Internship Fair in a separate room. Employers who have full-time or part-time positions as well as internship, volunteer or shadowing experiences related to sustainability or the environment are encouraged to attend. NOTE: This event is free to registered employers of the Spring Career & Internship Fair. Learn more and register. 4. Consider the Maryland Metropolitan Education Expo (MMEE) This event will run concurrently with the third day of the Spring Career & Internship Fair in a separate room. MMEE brings together school systems and talented applicants in the field of education. University of Maryland seniors and alumni, in addition, highly qualified applicants from academic institutions in Virginia, Maryland and D.C. and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic area are invited to attend. NOTE: This event is free to registered employers of the Spring Career & Internship Fair. Learn more and register. 5. Consider the Student Organization Reception and Employer Networking Dinner (SOREND) This event will take place the second evening of the Spring Career & Internship Fair.
