Position Profile

The DC office of GolinHarris is looking for a Senior Account Executive to drive account work, which will include communication, government relations and issues management efforts in the climate change, energy and sustainability space. Working with a diverse set of clients, the SAE will help develop public relations and public affairs plans, track key issues, manage client deliverables, execute on work with minimal supervision and support new business.

The SAE is accountable for delivering work on time and within budget, producing high-quality work and excellent results, and directing junior staff and interns in project work.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, excellent research capabilities and a strong understanding of Capitol Hill. Preferred candidates will have Capitol Hill, administration or association experience, and a demonstrated knowledge of energy and environmental issues. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the public affairs/communications field with a proven track record contributing to successful public affairs programs and relationship building is required.
