Currently, the Washington DC office of GolinHarris is seeking an Account Supervisor to help lead and drive communications efforts that support our clients regulatory and legislative priorities in our growing Public Affairs Practice.

The Account Supervisor is responsible for managing client relationships with our financial services (mortgages) and nonprofit association public affairs clients. This includes developing and employing strategies for advancing policy positions and initiatives that coordinate with the client's goals and budgets.

This person is accountable for delivering contracted work on time and within budget, supervising account teams, producing high-quality work and excellent results, while ensuring team members produce the same. They are also responsible for supporting new business efforts.

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must have at least 6+ years experience on Capitol Hill or in the public affairs/communications field.

It is essential the candidate have an in-depth understanding of the banking and mortgage industry, and their issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing successful public affairs programs, top-notch media relations skills, an understanding of social media and superior written and oral communication skills. Candidates who can show hands-on experience connecting consumer, corporate or nonprofit brands to the world of Washington influencers and thought leaders will be given priority consideration
