Legislative Aide Opening - Republican House Member seeks a Legislative Aide that will work directly under the Legislative Director in a small and close-knit leg shop. The legislative aide will need to demonstrate flexibility to work on a variety of issues and projects and complete them in a timely fashion. Responsibilities include meetings, research, drafting of memos and letters and other assigned duties. Previous Hill experience and a commitment to being a team player is preferred. Candidates must be able to successfully multitask and have excellent oral and writing skills. Scheduler/Office Manager - Southern Republican Congressman seeks experienced Scheduler/Office Manager. Applicant must possess excellent communication and organizational skills; work well in a fast-paced environment; successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously; and follow through on assignments in a timely manner. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing scheduling requests, scheduling DC and District meetings and events, arranging, and submitting expenses for reimbursement. Scheduler/Office Manager - Congressman John Sullivan (R-OK) is seeking a Scheduler/Office Manager. Candidates must be extremely organized and have demonstrated ability to follow through on assignments in a timely manner; work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure; and be able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: scheduling the Congressman’s DC meetings and events, arranging flights and other travel for the Congressman, managing the office intern program and general office managing duties. Intern (Immediate Opening) - The Office of U.S. Rep. Bob Inglis (SC-4) is currently seeking applicants for an unpaid internship, available to start immediately and work through the end of May. Candidates should have a strong work ethic and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: Managing phones, mail sorting/data entry, constituent tours of the Capitol, and other projects delegated by staff. South Carolina ties are a plus. Paid Intern - Rep. Lummis seeks an intern starting ASAP through May 31st. Duties include answering phones, sorting mail, entering mail, greeting constituents, leading tours of the Capitol. There will be opportunities to write constituent mail, and attend briefings for the legislative staff on an as needed basis. Attention to detail, promptness, excellent writing skills, cheerful attitude, and proper business dress attire are imperative. Availability full time M-F 9-6PM, preferred but not required.
