Legislative Assistant – Congressman Jeff Flake is searching for an inventive legislative assistant. Duties include assisting with Congressman Flake’s committee work and drafting legislation related to issue portfolio. Excellent writing skills are required. The position is based in Washington, D.C. Legislative Correspondent - Congressman Bill Cassidy is seeking a Legislative Correspondent to respond to constituent mail and ensure effective response times. Organizational, computer and writing skills are essential. The LC must make good use of the office’s computer tools for managing large volumes of mail. Louisiana ties are a plus. Applicants should email a resume to LA06jobs@mail.house.gov. Also put a brief cover letter in the body of the email that gives specific examples of how the applicant meets the job requirements mentioned above.

Internship - A Midwestern Republican is currently seeking internship applicants with a good work ethic to start immediately for the summer semester. This internship provides an opportunity to observe and interact with the inner-workings of a Congressional office, as well as provide learning opportunities though attending hearings, briefings, conducting tours of the Capitol, and assisting office staff with various duties and projects. Full-time interns will receive a one time stipend of $500 at the end of the internship.
