Responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering the telephone, scheduling tours and responding to constituent flag requests as well as assisting other staff with various projects. This position would also be responsible for driving the Member to official events. Congressman Howard Berman, senior Democrat on the Foreign Affairs and Judiciary Committees, seeks highly-motivated, detail-oriented Staff Assistant with excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced Capitol Hill office.
