Volunteer Opportunity--Tutor Children from Anacostia in Rayburn House Office Building

Tutor Children from Anacostia in Rayburn House Office Building

For over 20 years, Horton's Kids has been picking up children from one of DC's roughest neighborhoods on big "yellow cheese" school buses and taking them to tutoring, enrichment, health, and mentoring activities throughout the area. We have dozens of children of all ages who desperately need positive, individual attention from fun-loving, energetic volunteers! We offer many volunteer opportunities to fit a variety of schedules, commitments, experience levels, and interests.

Come tutor in Rayburn on Monday or Tuesday nights and make a difference in a child’s life. Tutoring starts up September 20 and orientations are going on now. Visit http://hortonskids.org/ for more information and e-mail startvolunteering@hortonskids.org to start!
