Fall Interns - The office of Congressman Patrick McHenry is seeking interns for fall 2010. The internship will provide college students and recent graduates with knowledge of the workings of a Congressional office and the legislative process. Responsibilities will include answering phones, sorting mail, giving Capitol tours, data entry, assisting legislative staff with research, letter writing, and attending various briefings and hearings. College credit is available upon request. North Carolina ties are preferred but not required. Interested candidates should email resume and cover letter to Krista.stafford@mail.house.gov.
Interns - Congressman James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) is currently seeking fall interns with conservative values, who are available to start at the beginning of September. Interns will be responsible for maintaining general front office duties including answering phones, conducting and scheduling tours, logging and writing office correspondence, and a variety of other administrative tasks. Applicants should be detail oriented, punctual, and have excellent communication skills. Wisconsin ties are preferred.
