Military LA – Senior Armed Services Committee member seeks experienced Military LA to advance aggressive national security agenda.  Candidate should have deep policy expertise, several years Hill experience and a proven record of legislative success on defense related issues.  Strong writing, analytical, and teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task on short-term needs while meeting long-term project deadlines is essential. Interested candidates should send a cover letter and resume to inquiryinfo@mail.house.gov .
Press Secretary – Communications-driven Republican seeks an experienced  Press Secretary to implement DC media strategy under the direction of district-based Communications Director.  The successful candidate must possess excellent written and oral communications skills, political acumen and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an emphasis on delivering earned media.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: drafting/distributing press releases; writing a weekly op-ed; letters to the editor as needed;  regular updating and improving the website; preparation of talking points and speeches; establishing and maintaining strong relations with local and DC media and executing an aggressive earned local media campaign.  New media skills are a must, including knowledge of video, audio and/or photography and editing in those mediums.  Energetic, pro-active, can-do attitude essential. Please send cover letter, resume, references and two writing samples to pressjob@mail.house.gov .
Legislative Assistant – Congressman Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) is looking for a Legislative Assistant to assist with some Financial Services issues and handle Military/Defense, Energy, Transportation, Appropriations and Education Issues. Candidate must have excellent written skills and knowledge and experience with the legislative process. Prior legislative experience and familiarity with Financial Services issues are a plus.
