Executive Assistant/Scheduler- NJ Republican has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: handling all scheduling requests, coordinating member and staff travel/reimbursement, handling Member’s personal correspondence, overseeing the Member’s Representational Allowance, and various other office management responsibilities. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, practice discretion and candidates must be able to multi-task. Salary commensurate with experience. Military Legislative Assistant – NJ Republican seeks a Military Legislative Assistant to assist with work on the House Armed Services Committee. This individual will also be responsible for issues concerning veterans and foreign policy. The ideal candidate will have excellent research, communication and writing skills and at least two years of legislative or defense-related experience. Knowledge of the defense authorization and appropriations process is a must. Salary commensurate with experience.
