Communications Director – Long-serving, southern Republican seeks a Communications Director to oversee all aspects of a high-profile and aggressive press operation.  Candidates should have media experience and must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.  Responsibilities include drafting guest columns, press releases and e-newsletters; maintaining the website; managing social-networking websites; pitching ideas to national and local outlets; and coordinating district press efforts.   Must be team-oriented, possess management skills and demonstrate an ability to collaborate effectively.  Familiarity with budget and appropriations process a plus.  Please send resume, cover letter and writing samples to workonthehill@gmail.com.

Legislative Assistant - Congressman Jeb Hensarling is searching for a proactive Legislative Assistant for his personal office.  The ideal candidate is a conservative with several years of legislative assistant experience, the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, and perform well under tight deadlines. Legislative Correspondent - The Office of Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH-5) is accepting resumes for a Legislative Correspondent position in the Washington, DC office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing high volume incoming constituent correspondence; and providing research for and responses to constituent correspondence in a timely fashion.  An ideal candidate should have superior research and writing skills, thoroughness and attention to detail, highly organized, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
