JOBS:

Recently launched website What's the Point (whatsthepointnews.com) is looking for writers and general submissions. We are a group of recent college graduates who believe that young people deserve to have more of a voice in public policy and issues that affect our country and our world. The goal of our website is to publicize the beliefs and opinions of our generation and to promote a constructive dialogue about solutions to the problems of the day. We welcome people of all beliefs, because it is vital that we understand where our political opponents are coming from and that they can give us a perspective on an issue that our own partisanship may prevent us from seeing. In short, our website "strives to be a clearinghouse for news, opinion, and interviews about issues that effect that ever coveted 18-35 year old demographic."

This is where you come in. We are looking for opinions on issues and current events to post ASAP. We want to be informative but also, if possible, humorous, and we want to hear what you have to say. So, check out our site and send us your best. Hey, if you're good, we might even want to bring you on as a regular.

Please include your name, town, e-mail, phone number, and college (if applicable). We will let you know if your submission is going to published in advance, and there will be no compensation for any articles.

Please e-mail all submissions to wtpnews@gmail.com
