Scheduler - Republican House Member seeks a detail oriented, highly organized and self-motivated individual as a Scheduler. Candidate will compile all scheduling requests, prepare daily schedule for the member, prepare detailed itineraries for Member, respond to all meeting/event requests via phone and/or email, make travel reservations, drive Member to/from certain events and the airport and stay in close contact with Member throughout the day to keep Member on schedule. Candidate must work well under pressure, tight deadlines, and in a fast-pace office. Must have a flexible schedule as job includes long hours, nights, and weekends and other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree is required with prior administrative or scheduling experience a must. Must have strong oral and written communication skills and must be able to exercise independent discretion and judgment. Candidates must have a car. Staff Assistant/Legislative Correspondent – Congressman Doc Hastings seeks motivated, organized, detail-oriented aide to handle front office operations (answering phones, greeting visitors) and constituent mail program. Responsibilities include helping respond to constituent mail and helping manage the constituent database system. Applicants must have excellent writing skills and strong work ethic.
