Director of Information Technology — House committee is seeking an experienced IT professional to serve as the committee’s Director of Information Technology. Responsibilities include maintenance and upkeep of committee website under tight deadlines; supervise improvements to committee website and new media efforts; operation of committee webcasting hardware and software; Maintenance and upkeep of custom web-based workflow application (known as CORE); supervise contractor for improvements and fixes to CORE; recommend appropriate information technology purchases for committee; and perform light deployment and troubleshooting of office equipment and systems. Proven ability to work accurately under tight deadlines for long hours is required. Ability to work in a mixed Windows-Mac environment and familiarity with House enterprise systems a plus.
