Scheduler – House Republican Chairman is searching for an experienced Scheduler. The ideal candidate for this Washington, DC-based position has previous experience as a scheduler on Capitol Hill, but private sector “executive assistant” experience OK. Candidate should be extremely well organized with exceptional attention to detail. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task. Duties will include: Managing daily schedule for Member of Congress, arrange official travel for member and staff, general office support/administration. Salary commensurate with experience. Director of New Media - House Committee is accepting applications for the position of Director of New Media. The new media director will create eye catching videos that help drive the Chairman’s message, create daily blog clips, monitor all video, and spearhead the Committee’s blog. The position will also maintain the Committee’s Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube pages, as well as outreach to conservative bloggers. Press Assistant - House Committee is accepting applications for the position of Press Assistant. The assistant will help in day to day operations for the committee communications shop, including: updating press distribution lists, research, drafting messaging documents, compiling news clips, monitoring news coverage, answering calls, prepare embargoed testimony for reporters.
