Professional Staff Member – House Armed Services Committee seeks a Professional Staff Member. Responsibilities include management of a portfolio of issues, including regional issues associated with certain geographic commandant commands (and U.S. military policy relating to the countries within the associated command), non-proliferation and cooperative threat reduction, NATO/foreign nation matters, counternarcotics, and building partnership capacity; assisting with the preparation of the National Defense Authorization Act; and supporting Members of the Full Committee in the conduct of oversight of the Department of Defense.
