RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regional Field Directors (RFD) are the face of Organizing for America

About The Ohio Organizing Campaign:

Job Description
The Youth Outreach Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, coordinating, and empowering student activists and groups to fight SB 5 on campus and in their communities. Working with and identifying student leaders, the Youth Outreach Coordinator will work to create and implement campus campaign plans to raise awareness and opposition to SB 5. She/He will coordinate and manage grassroots outreach efforts with student leaders and grow the base of student and youth activists statewide. Facilitating the growth of on-campus coalitions between student groups to unify the student voice will be an important component for this position.
The Youth Outreach Coordinator will:
-Work with the emerging youth activist base in Ohio and facilitate table organization and communication via meetings, conference calls and social media.
-Recruit and empower students to take a lead role in organizing against SB 5.
-Identify students to become Communication Captains for their campus and direct them to We Are Ohio Press events.
-Work with Student Leads on campus to register students to vote, collect Early Vote By Mail applications, and educate student voters around SB 5’s harmful impacts on Ohio’s middle class and on students themselves.
-Work with student leads and groups to create Anti SB 5 coalitions on campuses to build unity and increase student participation in the campaign.
Qualifications:
- Be dedicated to defeating SB 5 and have a strong passion for community organizing.

A core part of the job is to develop repeatable, automatically updated
reports for our clients. These reports will evolve over time as
Poliops and our clients identify new opportunities for using data. As
an analyst, you will take the lead in designing and creating these
reports for many clients.
Finally, PoliOps is a recent start-up, so you’ll need to be
comfortable taking on new responsibilities not specifically described
in this job description. In particular, you will be asked to help
support our clients using Poliops applications.
Requirements:
• Strong data background with analytics experience
• Know your SQL: there is a time and place for query tools, but you’re
totally comfortable operating in SQL exclusively. If you don’t know
SQL, you need to show a history of being able to rapidly pick up other
technical skills.
• A passion for elegant analytics and progressive ideals
• Must enjoy working closely with others, this isn’t a good job for
analysts who like to work alone

The Marine Fish Conservation Network seeks a full time intern to assist with
administrative & communications tasks, including but not limited to media
outreach & monitoring, web & social media campaigns, grant writing &
development, database management and office support. Joining us for this
internship will give you exposure to a broad range of activities undertaken
by a conservation non-profit while giving you the opportunity to work as
part of a small and dynamic team.
The Marine Fish Conservation Network is the largest national coalition of
environmental organizations, commercial and recreational fishing
associations, aquariums, and marine science groups solely dedicated to
promoting the long-term sustainability of ocean fish.

Duties & Responsibilities
It is estimated that 50% of your time will be spent on administrative tasks
& development, and 50% will be spent on communications activities. Weekly
needs will vary, and flexibility is a must.
Administrative & Development tasks are likely to include:
- Organizing and archiving records & files
- Data entry & database management, using Salesforce CRM
- Researching fundraising opportunities
- Supporting grant management cycle
Communications tasks are likely to include:
- Monitoring and tracking relevant news items & current events in
