Vacancy: Government Affairs Assistant

NRHA, a national non-profit membership association of more than 22,000, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant, Government Affairs and Policy. This position provides support to the Vice President of Government Affairs and Policy on the legislative and programmatic interests of the NRHA with the U.S. Congress, the White House, federal agencies, and other relevant non-governmental organizations. This position will have an emphasis on health information technology.

Qualifications: College degree in relevant field. This is an entry level position for the advocacy department of NRHA. Knowledge of Congress, rural health and rural health information technology is strongly preferred. Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to get along with people.
