Works as a Liaison in Washington DC on behalf of EMSI’s President and CEO. Adminsitrative support to EMSI’s Sr. VP of Operations as well as to EMSI’s President and CEO at this RBO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Washington DC Liaison on behalf of EMSI;
Answering President and CEO telephone and fielding calls at the RBO;
Greet visitors and provide hospitality to guests of the Executive Team at the RBO;
Educate Customers, Clients, and Politicians as needed regarding EMSI;
Schedule and arrange meetings and conferences;
Scheduling travel arrangements, including flights, hotel, and transportation;
Legislative research and summarizing different political viewpoints;
Printing, scanning, filing, and emailing documents;
Preparing UPS, FedEx and USPS mailing packages;
Prepare reports, letters and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software;
File and email corporate documents, records, and reports;
Assist in filing documentation for state licensing renewals;
Schedule meetings and conferences;
Assuring Compliance at the RBO site;
Research and provide answers to any issues that may arise;
Work special projects as assigned;
This position may require travel as needed.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience working in Washington D.C. in the political arena preferred, i.e., Congressional Intern, etc.

Understand, support and comply with policies, procedures and internal controls in accordance with the best business practices across the organization.

College Degree or equivalent experience preferred. FDA regulations as it applies to medical devices a plus but not required. Medical device industry knowledge a plus but not required.
