Military Legislative Assistant Vacancy

Military Legislative Assistant – California Republican Member seeks Military Legislative Assistant to serve as liaison to district military instillations and handle related special projects.  Working knowledge of House procedure and defense policies and procedures necessary to succeed in this position, as well as ability to quickly develop excellent working relationships with district stakeholders.  Position will also handle multiple non-defense legislative issues as well as monitoring floor activity and producing vote analyses for non-defense issue portfolio.  Strong writing and organizational skills and the ability to rapidly and clearly summarize complex policy issues a must for this position.  Please email cover letter and resume to: MLAPosition@mail.house.gov
