ALEC Energy, Environment & Agriculture Task Force Director

The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), the nation's largest nonpartisan, individual membership association of state legislators, is seeking to hire an Energy, Environment and Agriculture Task Force Director. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of policy experience, preferably in energy, environment, biotech, agriculture, and property rights. A strong background of working with state legislators and state policy issues is preferred. Qualified candidates will also have excellent writing, communication, fundraising abilities and organizational skills. Previous media experience is helpful but not necessary. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to ALEC’s mission of promoting the Jeffersonian principles of free markets, limited government and individual liberty.

Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree Some travel is required (10%) Start date: Immediate
