CAMPAIGN JOBS:
Finance Director – U.S. Senate Campaign

“The United States, as it has many times, stands at a crossroads. Yet from the moment of the country’s birth we have emerged from every challenge as a stronger, better nation. I want to help us do that again in the 21st century.”
Bob Massie, Candidate for U.S. Senate, Massachusetts
For his whole life Bob Massie has been dedicated to building a better life for all. To build this future, Americans need a solid foundation built upon a good home, a good school, a good doctor, and a good job.
All four of these are under attack by Scott Brown and the Republican Congress. In Washington, Bob Massie will stop these assaults on the American middle class and the American Dream.
Bob is not your ordinary US Senate Candidate. He has spent decades fighting for our shared values. As a young minister in New York, he founded a homeless shelter to serve those most in need. To understand the corporate world from the inside, he earned a doctorate at Harvard Business School. As the director of Ceres, the largest coalition of investor and environmental groups in the U.S., he co-founded the Global Reporting Initiative, the leading international standard for reporting corporate performance on energy, labor, the environment, and human rights. And in 1994, Bob was proud to serve as the Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor in Massachusetts.
Bob needs your help to beat Scott Brown in 2012. Join Bob’s Campaign to Build a Better Life for All. Bob is looking for energetic, responsible, progressive, and hard-working interns to build the excitement and grassroots network for his campaign.
Major Responsibilities:
· Oversee implementation of campaign fundraising plan
· Coordinate candidate’s phone call fundraising work
· Lead grassroots fundraising program (Bob’s Builders) with community volunteers
· Manage campaign’s Outreach and Finance Committee
· Coordinate in-state and out-of state fundraising events
· Implement on-line fundraising program
· Manage fundraising staff, interns and volunteers
· Work with fundraising consultants on certain fundraising tactics
Location: Boston MA
