Website and Social Media Manager
ProEnglish, the nation’s leading English language advocates, has an immediate opening for an
innovative and tech savvy Website and Social Media Manager in their Arlington, VA
headquarters located in Rosslyn.
Primary Responsibilities:
 Manages the website and various social media outlets, including but not limited to, the
ProEnglish blog, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube page
 Contributes blog postings and aids in the production of fundraising materials, direct mail,
and quarterly newsletter
 Coordinates communications with ProEnglish grassroots members, including email list
 Coordinates online messaging with Executive Director and Director of Government
 Develops and coordinates online fundraising strategies
 Manages online advertising, including ads on Facebook and Google, and banner ads
 Assists in general office duties
Required Skills:
 Bachelors Degree
 Experience in HTML, CSS, Google Analytics, and website CMS platforms including or
similar to Joomla, Drupal, and Wordpress is required
 Experience with social media platforms
 Excellent grammar and writing abilities are a must
 Mac/PC proficient
Desired Skills
 Previous campaign, Capitol Hill, non-profit, or association experience is desired.
 Video work including shooting, editing, and posting YouTube videos
 Experience with Internet fundraising
 Experience with imovie or Final Cut Pro
 Experience with photoshop, indesign, and flash
 Experience with email blast software such as Capwiz and Mail Chimp
 Must be eligible to legally work in the United States
 Full time
 Limited travel (annual board meeting and occasional conferences)
 Salary commensurate with experience
